So here we are with all new, fresh software. Isn't all nice and new and shiny? It even has that new forum smell! MMMmmmmmmm!
There may be still be name resolution issues which cause
www.councilofgrey.com to still point to the old site, at which you'd see a "site down" message. Hopefully those issues will go away on their own soon.
All existing users, forums, topics and replies have been migrated from the old software.
If you were flagged as a CoG member before, you should be a member of the
Cog Members group now, and should still have access to all the CoG only forums.
I'm considering deleting all users who have never posted and who are not CoG members. Let me know if you think that's a bad idea. Otherwise it will probably happen soonish.
So far, I have not migrated the following from the old software:
- User avatars
- Old private messages
- Calendar events
If you feel any particular need for those, let me know in this thread. Otherwise it's something that I may or may not work on depending on if I feel like it.
Known issues:
- The "redirect" style pseudo-forums like the Guild Charter, Policies and so on don't work. These all probably need to be thrown out and rewritten anyway, as they're all rather old and EQ-centric.
