So what are you guys up to these days?  Playing any good games?  The last MMOs I played were Eve Online, Warhammer Online and lastly Aion.  I haven't played Aion since March; I've mainly been messing around on Crysis Wars and Dragon Age Origins.  I've been having a rough time playing the newer games as I'm still playing on an old p4 Pentium machine.  I hope to upgrade to a core i7 sometime this summer; I'm planning on building it myself.  I know I haven't been around in ages, but I thought I would drop by and say hi...

I went to EQ2 for a while .... 3 or so years. I actually enjoyed that game unlike the rest of the world it seams. Then i moved in with a GF for 3 years and she talked me into going back to EQ1 which i did for a few years. Now im single again and i registered back up for EQ2 and im trying out Star Trek Online ... im not sure i like either of them at the moment but im giving them a try.

Fox and I are both playing world of warcraft still, but i dont see many old eq cogs on anymore. Almost everyone else in WOW went to other servers or quit playing so havent seen any of them =(

I'm spending all of my time applying for jobs (have a notebook full of them) and educating myself on finance and investments.  Yup, super exciting!  But, I refuse to be in this situation of not knowing how long I can pay the bills or being dependent on someone else for income.  If any of you guys are geeky in the ways of investing, I'd love to listen!

I've migrated to first person shooters semi-permanently. Cod4 to be specific, modern warfare 2 just plain sucks.
Berg is playing some wierd post apocalyptic MMO type game that's fairly new. I've got no idea what it's called though.

Ya'll have fun playing your WoW... I still have a grudge on that game starting when it first debuted. It's a big reason EQ 1 isn't as popular today.

im shocked eq 1 is atill around? it has to have had like 15 more expansions since it came out

16 expansions actually. Expansion 17 is upcoming soon. Max level is 85 last I checked and hitpoint counts when raid buffed at end game are upwards of 40-50k hp. Its getting crazy. But its surprising how many people still play. Cazic thule as of about 3 months ago still has big numbers on it, I'd guess somewhere around 500 to 1000 people that actively play. But that's a wild guess. Could be more. You can still do a /who all and get too many results, so thats all i need =)

ya its still going ... the expansions are still good. While there arent as many servers as there was... the ones still open are pretty active. Theres good content for mostly for groups and big raids these days. But still some things you can do solo.

I'm back playing Aion, but the servers seem chaotic after the forced server merges.  They allowed un monitiored free transfers and now the server factions are all out of wack ...

My daughter was bored and sifting through old game CDs and came across Baldur's Gate, so, I'm addicted to that again, lol.

WoW is fine, but untill the next xpac comes out, ive seen all the content.

I beet all the rpgs for ps3 already and they seem slow to get new ones!

anyone ever mess around on any of the emulated eq servers?

im playing on project 1999 atm (www.project1999.org) its OLD school eq. Pretty fun and very hard but nostalgia is cool sometimes....anyways just figured id share.
